A renovation project of an old farmhouse immersed in the countryside of the Val di Noto, where new volumes are approached with great respect reflected by the simplicity of forms and materials. Cor-Ten steel, with its characteristic of being a material changing through time, is juxtaposed with natural earthenware plaster and white Syracuse stone.

The shapes of the old part reflect the typical designs of the Sicilian style, while the new part is simpler and more linear, in order to maintain a respectful dialogue with the authentic soul of rural farms. Window and doors, traditionally made of wood, are built with the Mogs M65 thermal break system in Cor-Ten steel to guarantee high thermal and acoustic performance.
