Palazzo Cerere

In the heart of the Murat district, the commercial and cultural heart of Polignano a Mare, stands Palazzo Cerere, a restoration project by M+T Architetti that brings new life and renewed splendor to the historic building. Conceived to expand the city beyond its medieval walls, the “new borough” designed by Gioacchino Murat in the 19th century replaced the historic fortifications with a modern, grid-based urban layout.

The Palazzo Cerere project is defined by a measured balance between interior and exterior, between traditional building techniques and contemporary details such as natural stone and minimal painted steel openings. Doors and windows, manufactured with the FerroFinestra W75 TB thermal break system, enhance the existing openings through slim, elegant profiles that amplify natural light and the material richness of the original architecture, without altering its essence.
