Overlooking Lake Orta, amidst a forest of chestnut, hornbeam and maple trees, the La Darbia resort was designed to transform the property into a rural oasis dedicated to hospitality.

The emblem of La Darbia is its stone tower, an ancient ‘roccolo’, a typical hunting post used to catch birds, meticulously reconstructed and placed side by side with other newly built units.

The colours of the interiors echo the shades of the local landscape, while the light beige façades recall the typical colours of Piedmontese vernacular architecture. The windows and doors made with the FerroFinestra W75 TB system in Cor-Ten steel blend perfectly with the project’s Mediterranean atmosphere, framing the magnificent view of the lake and Monte Rosa.
