Villa Colucci

In Puglia, in the picturesque village of Selva di Fasano, a wonderful 19th-century palace comes back to life after a restoration project that lasted almost three years. The building, a historic residence of the Colucci family from which it takes its name, was purchased in 2022 by two couples of Danish creatives.

The restoration of the building, entrusted to architect Francesco Mastrorosa, preserved the precious features of the era such as the original floors, the staircase connecting the two floors, and the period plasterwork, while integrating contemporary elements like steel frames on the ground floor into this evocative setting. Artworks, designer furniture, and vintage pieces gracefully furnish the 478 square meters of space, creating a colourful, welcoming and eclectic ensemble.

The historic wooden windows have been preserved on the upper floors, while custom steel frames from Ottostumm | Mogs, with slender and minimal lines, have been created for the openings on the ground floor using FerroFinestra W40 and W75 TB thermal break systems.
